Motorcycle Bobbed 3.5 Gallon Gas Tank Set. Bobbed gas tank set features provisions to accept early caps, reserve shut off rod, and two or three light dash. Tank has emblem mount strips attached. Order emblem set separately.
Tank features indents for shifter gate, and has a welded on shifter handle tab. Check the shut off opening, making sure the shut off valve can be easily installed. Shut off fitting should be masked or plugged during the painting for easy installation of shut off valve. Check the tank for flaws and fit before painting. Do not grind or sand the seams or joints. Clean the inside of the tank. It is suggested to pressure test and use a tank sealer. We suggest using Kreem gas tank combo kit to clean, condition, and seal to help stop leaks and prevent corrosion. All tanks or tank sets require hand fitting to give correct alignment for dash and fuel line fitment. Dash will also have to be shimmed when installed, to achieve correct height.
